Love it

I like this movie because it is realistic and believable. Real love is not what we usually see in dramas. Romance is imperfect. I loved this version of what that means. The story was cleverly illustrated to sympathise with all four main characters, so taking sides is pretty difficult. I found the ending quite interesting, and not expected at all. I was almost thrown off by the rewind, but since nothing changed and it was used to add detail, it was okay. I think it was a bit unnecessary though, as most viewers would have understood the meaning. Either way, it's a good film that casts a shadow on love.

This movie exists because the drama was a disaster.

When I made my review, I stated that the biggest conflict that existed was between the director (who did what she wanted) and the author (whose ideas and calls were not respected).

Considering this and with an angry Korean audience it was normal that they wanted to do a "compensatory".

I really have no idea why some actors agreed to be in the movie and others didn't but the webtoon was portrayed in a good way. Of course, if you compare it to the drama, it seems very little. But it's not that bad, it's just not a big deal and it was noted that it was made to calm the waters a bit. That if, if you don't know the story previously, you will surely think "What the hell am I seeing?" because it's quite confusing trying to suppress so much in such a short time.

FL is too annoying

●This was the 6th movie in the series and its as usual disappointing. But this one is more dire

●Ruan qing tian takes hao yu to the hospital. He kidnaps her as he learns that Ren hao ming has found his real identity. Haoming saves qing tian with guns and fights. Later he propose to qing tian and he also receives a new mission from the Intelligence agency. While trying to investigate the case he comes across thugs who attack him. Qing tian is excited to get married but she is more excited about the new mission which haoming keeps up secret. But qing tian doesnt give up and follows him everywhere and while arresting the people gets shot while saving qing tian.

●This part was such a pain to watch. FL was too clingy that would be a sober word she interferes in each of ML work and wants to tag along for a mission. One should earn her place, since ML is getting missions she wants to show some of her fight skills or don’t know what but at last her stupidity befalls again and ML sacrifices himself to save her. Later they both get Email that a key person of the mission has run away so they both will be interrogated. And voila movie finishes.
●ML is good in this part but FL destroys it with her annoying performance. Actually speaking FL has been like this whole time and that's why doesnt let the ML good caring nature seen.

●I couldn’t find the next part. So I would suggest everyone don’t watch as the next part isnt available and no one likes cliffhangers.

Wrap up of the entire series

First of all, I highly recommend watching Code Blue in the right order. From season 1 to the movie which is the official end, this series has a red thread going through.

The order of watching is:
Code Blue Season 1 (2008)
Code Blue Special (Farewell Facing Tomorrow) (2009) (connects Season 1 and 2)
Code Blue Season 2 (2010)
Code Blue Season 3 (2017)
Code Blue: Another Everyday (Spin-Off) (2018)
Code Blue Mou Hitotsu No Senjou Special (2018) (Sequel and bridge to movie)
Code Blue: The Movie (2018)

The Movie is the last adaption and tells the story of the flight doctors until their future paths.
Maybe the story is a bit dramatic but it's not getting to a point of being ridiculous or unrealistic for me. Also from scriptwriters/production point of view it's understandable they want to fill in action and some "blasts" before the end.
I can hardly even think of anything negative because I liked the series from the beginning and the script convinced me.

The drama has a good balance between personal life (and struggles) of the characters and the medical part (which is well written). Not to mention, that the medical accuracy is given here, which I appreciate a lot because I can't stand when even basic things like CPR are portrayed wrong in dramas. Doctors are not "gods in white" in this but they have insecurities, private matters and other problems they have to deal with. Code Blue managed to show the progress of the main characters and how they grow from the fresh trainees to full-fledged doctors that people and fellow trainees now depend on. This depth is a bit shortcut in the movie (due to it's limited runtime) but it's there if you followed the series.

The cast is mostly the same minus some faces we have seen in Season 3. The focus of this movie is on the "main 5" (Shiraishi, Aizawa, Hiyama, Fujikawa and Saejima). All did a wonderful job in portraying their character.

As for the music, you either grew tired of the same tunes by now or they've grown to you. For me it's the second and whenever I hear the melodies, I think of Code Blue.

The movie as the entire series have a high rewatch value. I loved to watch the development of the characters. The medical part is good, the characters likeable, there's a bit of humor and romance. Overall a nice package that will entertain you.

The most nonsensical ending to a film ever made!

Okay, I am sure there's been worse endings in cinema history, but bear with me for a little because I'm overcome with emotion right now.

STORY:
It seemed like the writer changed their mind ten seconds before submitting the final script to the producers because what was a bittersweet romcom with some risqué humor thrown in the mix turned into a flaming hot pile of garbage that was loaded into a bicycle that was on fire and that bicycle didn't have any wheels on it. If you think that sounds ridiculous, I invite you to watch the final ten minutes of this film. It's like every character got amnesia or a personality change and went batshit crazy. I don't mind the tragedy of this, in fact, I rather enjoy watching tragedies and I kinda knew the ending going into the actual film itself. It's the way that ending came about, stupidly and insultingly to the audience, as if they didn't care about the past hour and forty minutes we had to sit through to reach that point.

I decided to look past every single problematic thing happening in this film (the ML getting raped by someone, being chill about it, and then saying to the FL he can sleep with anyone he wants but he only loves her) but I'll never look past the horrible ending! I want to meet the writer of this film and shake some sense into them, and also demand my two hours back because I am full of regrets, and mad about it!

ACTING:
Decent performances across the board. I appreciate New for making me hate his guts when he was the reason I started watching this film, ha, the irony. I'm also on the lookout for our ghost boy who won me over with his puppy dog eyes, despite that oh so distracting unibrow. Supporting cast all played their parts well, especially the ACTUAL threesome, those were some cute men, and I'd rather have seen this movie revolve around those three.

MUSIC:
Surprisingly enjoyable, and incredibly spot on with the lyrics in every single scene. It seems like more care went into the music placement and selection than it did into the actual writing of the film.

REWATCH:
I wouldn't rewatch this film if someone paid me a billion dollars to see it again! Okayyyy, maybe for a billion dollars.

OVERALL:
Watch this if you don't have a heart, or are against the interspecies romance trope, you'll be satisfied. Don't watch this if you're looking for something light and sweet to pass the time, you'll get infuriated beyond measure. I have no idea how or why this film got greenlit. It's absolutely trash.

PS. If you think my rating is rather lenient for how harsh my review is, it's the average rating of all the components that made up the film.

Sad movie with a good song

I like that we can see back in time to something so beautiful, but also very sad.

For me the story touched me and made me feel emotions, and I cried the most when someone so dear died from suicide. Everyone cried or was in shock in the moment when she was found dead.

I also cried from the part were the friends was going to eat chicken without the dear friend who died, and I got flashback from the time when she, who died, killed or broke the neck of a chicken they were going to cook and eat together.

Acting 🎭 Amazing, because they were like the characters.

Music 🎶 Amazing, I felt it hit my heart ❤️ really hard, it actually touched me, made me cry from the inside.

I want to watch this with friends one day, so we can be emotional together.😭

I recommend this to everyone, because this was so touching, beautiful and sad.😢❤️

that failed mission was a walk in the park

●this writer is something, he keeps on repeating the same plot but with a different character. if i get to rename this movie, it would be CURSED GIRL, coz there are so many guys falling for her and then die for various reasons.

●the movie opens up with Ruan qing tian dragged back by Ren hao ming to his mansion. he tries to keep her confined as he senses some danger. he takes up a mission which gets ruined as ruan qing tian comes in to help out. she eventually becomes a baggage and jiang chen loses his life saving her. they both are suspended for failing a mission. qing tian is upset over jiang chen loss. she goes back to attend her college but Hao ming uses his connection for the disqualification. later hao ming decides to sell off the art academy for which a buyer named HaoYu comes up. HaoYu also approaches qing tian saying he knows her father whereabouts and will tell her only if she marries him. she reluctantly agrees, later Haoming comes to rescue and she gets clear picture that she was being fooled. later at college HaoYu comes beside qingtian and dies.... voila cliffhanger ending.

●the acting is very bad by FL. her only work is to be an eye candy acting cute all the time. yeah she looks cute while getting angry, while forceful kissing and while crying. there is just one expression for her and that is cute. I gave low ratings for acting because of her. she has a failed mission but she wants to argue with her superior over the suspension. what kind of an attitude is that. if you go for a mission you need to have some guts and guns not going around like walking in park. she cant save herself but wants to be a special agent. funny thing where does this bullets comes flying to kill the characters are still unknown..

●so there is one last movie PERFECT MATCH: EVIL SCHEME
I hope thats the last movie, coz there are no more in the Iqiyi APP.

Are there differences?

I love how natural it felt watching as the friendly teasing turned into actual flirting. With every couple one person was a bit more shy than the other but they were both curious to figure out if the other actually meant it when they said they were being serious about wanting to kiss each other. Despite every couple acting out the same scene there were subtle differences, which I really enjoyed since to me it reflects how scenes like this might be in reality.

The girls seemed close, best friends maybe considering they wear matching rings. Both seemed a bit shy, at first, uncertain where things were heading. The the guy in the second scene seemed flustered when the girl suddenly turned his joke around and clearly refused to let it go, even going as far as asking whether he actually meant it. The third scene had a slightly different undertone to it, there was a mild if probably not entirely serious threat of violence as a first reaction when the teasing tone between the two male friends turned into much more than just joking around. Though, it was clear all six people clearly wanted this kiss to happen - here I'm really happy everyone actually made sure to ask for consent, to make sure they were on the same page.

To me, these subtle similarities show that even though all the pairings/couples share the same names (Jimin and Soo Hyun respectively) there is still a difference in how people with different genders might act when first confronted with the idea of kissing someone (especially if it's someone with the same or opposite gender). With the two guys there was a hint of fear in both guy's way of behavior, showing they were both trying to backpedal so as not to be seen as the 'weird one', an undertone which I also slightly got from the two girls. Both non-straight couples seemed to portray the silent question how others would react to them kissing, so each of them had to make sure the other person was being serious, was not just messing with them as some kind of cruel joke - I might have been thinking way too much about it in the last couple of minutes but I think the person portraying the character of Jimin in all three scenes is much less experienced than the one portraying Soo Hyun. And yet the latter already seems to have a slight crush on the other as well, showing it by teasing and yet being also unsure whether their feelings are actually requited.

The uncertainty and yet the constant push-and-pull until each person had their clear answer was beautifully portrayed and as someone who happens to be part of the LGBTQIA+ community that felt a bit too real at times (of course, especially with the first and third couple in this short film): Testing the waters but not being ready to jump in, ready to deny everything once questioned just to save a friendship, yeah, that felt a lot like past experiences.

I enjoyed this short film very much - while at first I thought it would be three different scenariosit turned out all three couples went through the same scenario. Altogether it felt like having a quick glance at three different parallel universes because after all there is no real difference between the couples. They are nervous, excited and yet they communicate their intentions clearly.

Altogether I think this short film shows that despite everything love is love, no matter one's own gender or that of the person you like or want to be with. After all, we're all human.

Very promising movie!

I was totally not expecting what I ended up seeing! I really liked this movie, very enjoyable to watch if you're looking for a Korean suspenseful/action type of movie!

This movie was so interesting at first I was totally confused about why they wanted to get the girl, and then when they showed the powers I was more confused. However, the acting and the intriguing part of finding out why they wanted her so bad kept me going. Then when that plot twist, which I TOTALLY not expecting happened, I was more than SHOOK. Honestly, it was definitely the best part it had me on the edge. The only downside I'll say is the ending part, got me confused but certainly craving for more. Hopefully, I'll get to watch part 2 soon!

watch this if you really have nothing better to do and you are super curious

this is a humor-laced, action-adventure, fantasy. it feels a bit like xianxia genre, but it is not. it is bicultural, as it attempts to feature a mix aspects of Japanese with that of Chinese. this show and the story feel more like a loose adaptation from an online novel, and/or from an online game.

it's a low production show that, if it were released theatrically, i would cry out laughing. it is CGI-dependent, but the CGI quality leans on the mediocre. most, if not all of the casts are relatively new and/or unknown actors (or non-mainstream actors).

there are comic elements throughout the show, but tend to be lame-o-moe or corny/dumb. there are not a lot of martial arts choreography. the actions depend more on CGIs, background sound effects, wire-fu, and editing. actually, i do feel there are occasional moments when the actors' performances are enjoyable.

i feel it's kind of messed-up because the producer/director/screenwriter tries to blend folktale with pop culture, Japanese and Chinese cultures, human actors with animated characters, xianxia with wuxia with JPRG/MMORPG elements, etc.

Must watch

I love everything about this. I didn't expect this movie to be as good as it is. I like how they developed even more the main characters and how they not only focused on the sexiness but on the plot as well. The message in the end is very deep. This was overall an extremely good experience and a good ending for this series. I would definitely watch this again. One of the best Japanese bl out there
They brought other themes in this movie and were able to show that this series is not only about sex scenes. The cast is amazing. The acting is superb.

a show that is guaranteed not to stir pleasant dreams nor terrible nightmares

i am rating 5 as overall mainly for efforts, money pumped into paying all the teams involved in this film, and for lessons i observe analyzing this film.

highlights of the film, i) immortal fart; ii) the caption typo, "i sot it!"; and, iii) a few of the concepts/imaginations are creative and interesting.

this is a shallow, CGI heavy, action fantasy show. just grab a popcorn or your favorite snack, or binge watch this. don't mind me though, this films is still relatively enjoyable. i guarantee you won't have pleasant dreams or terrible nightmares after watching this show. it's good that they attempt to make this film, but unfortunately, i feel that this is an (overly) ambitious project lacking in preparation maturity and depth. it has over-the-top costumes and trinkets/wearables that are intricately designed, and often act as a distraction/annoyance. some of the makeups and costumes can at times be a distraction/annoyance, too. it has has too many characters, but lacking in character depth and development, and lacking strong story/plot.

it could have been broken up into 2 or 3 parts to enhance the quality of the show.

Not what I expected

*maybe minor spoilers ahead, I tried by best not to add any but let me know if it contains any spoilers*

I came to watch this coz I've watched the chinese drama "A little thing called first love" And I like it very much. I had quite huge expectations from this but I was definitely disappointed..
The story went by slowly in the start but the ending seemed very rushed. I expected to see more of ML development but there was nothing at all. When there were 30 min of the movie left then they started showing us the loopholes which according to me didn't make any sense. The story wasn't consistent. In the start we saw that ML didn't know FL at all but all of a sudden they startes having interactions, too many interactions.
Oh and the ending... I mean doesn't that scream that the FL is too easy! I mean why'd she agree after all that? If you are someone who is a romance enthusiast you may like this. This is the kind of movie which will be loved by 12 yr old girls but if you are looking for a good movie I say there are many better options out there so try something else.
