Ahn Hyo Seop is confirmed to star in a new SBS drama.
Kakao Entertainment confirmed on June 10th that Ahn Hyo Seop will be the main lead for the upcoming romantic comedy-drama "The Office Blind Date." He will be playing the character of Kang Tae Mu, the perfect CEO from a third-generation conglomerate.
"The Office Blind Date" is set to be helmed by Park Seon Ho who has created romance dramas such as "Wok of Love,” "Suspicious Partner,” “Birth of a Beauty,” and more. The production will begin filming in the second half of the year, and it will premiere in the first half of 2022.
"The Office Blind Date" will be based on the webtoon of the same name written by Hae Hwa. It will depict the story of an employee who hides her identity and pretends to be her friend but ends up becoming her CEO's blind date.
Ahn Hyo Seop will portray the role of Kang Tae Mu. He has the superior appearance, charm, brain, sense, and skill as a businessman in Korea. He's a very workaholic person that he is labeled as cold and crankier than any other third-generation conglomerates.
Ahn Hyo Seop has worked in dramas with different genres and many are already anticipating what he will do next. He was part of the dramas "Dr. Romantic 2," "Abyss," "Thirty But Seventeen," "My Father is Strange," Entertainer," and more.
For this year, Ahn Hyo Seop will be the male lead for the upcoming historical drama "Red Sky" with Kim Yoo Jung, Gong Myung, Kwak Shi Yang, and more. It will be directed by "You Who Came from the Stars" PD, Jang Tae Yoo.
